Benefits of apple cider vinegar for dogs

Fleas and ticks

Pour droplets of apple cider on your dog’s coat before brushing. Every part of the coat should get apple cider vinegar. Brush thoroughly so that the skin absorbs.
Take one-quarter of water and add three tablespoons of water in it. Rinse your dog with this mixture after bathing your dog.
Arthritis pain causes dogs to be antisocial and irritated. Older dogs have an excess of calcium deposits around their joints, which hampers mobility. Here are two methods to soothe arthritis pain:
Heat apple cider vinegar in microwave till it is warm. Use a cloth or a cotton ball to apply apple cider vinegar directly to your dog’s joints.
Add one tablespoon or a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to your dog’s food and water. Feed it to your dog once every day. It helps in reducing the calcium deposits by breaking them.
Apple cider vinegar controls the growth of bacteria and viruses in the digestive tract. It also protects friendly and essential bacteria. Teeth and nails
Apple cider vinegar is excellent for cleaning teeth and nails due to higher acidity. It also soothes irritated paws. You can either use the mixture to give a pedicure to your canine fellow or spray apple cider vinegar on its nails and teeth.
Balance pH levels
A healthy dog has a pH level between 6.5 and 7. Apple cider vinegar has a pH level of 5. It can help in balancing your canine friend’s pH level if it’s high or low. Changes in pH level cause bacterial growth, which leads to several diseases. Therefore, add apple cider vinegar to your pup’s diet to neutralize pH levels.
Mange is a contagious disease in dogs. Mites cause it. Mange further causes soreness and rashes. Apple cider vinegar can correct this situation by pouring undiluted apple cider vinegar on the affected area. Don’t wash it afterward. Let it dry out naturally. Repeat this process at least once or twice every day.

UTIs could be because of pH imbalance. UTIs are easily treated by adding apple cider vinegar to your dog’s water.

Your dog could be allergic to apple cider vinegar, which could lead to an increase in the disease. Other than that, adding apple cider vinegar to your dog’s diet is always beneficial.
